so far after reading pages 1-11 it has started to show me a whole new perspective on
Columbus's discovery. all though it wasn't a complete surprise that Columbus was as mean and cruel as he was. it was definitly a new side of things. although it is only the beginning of the book i found it alittle surprising how you don't here about it from the natives point of few.

ReplyDeleteYou're correct that you don't hear the Natives speaking, but that's because they are extinct. Zinn tries his best to talk from their perspective and not the "invaders".
